How do you manage chores around your home?
For us it’s been learning process. We started out using the same system my parents used when I was a child; we scratched out a list of chores on loose leaf paper and taped it to the fridge. Well, just like when I was young it really didn’t work all that well. So we graduated to a store bought pre printed chart. That didn’t work for us either. Nowadays you can automatically direct your child’s allowance to a gift card or even to a Visa debit card if your child is thirteen or older. Our son Sam is eleven and receives his allowance in cash but he would really like to get it on a gift card. There is something magical about plastic.
